Briarston™ uses the Shopify commerce platform to operate its online store and checkout. When you enter payment details at checkout, the transaction is handled through the payment services available for that transaction. We aim to make costs, payment choices, and order confirmation information clear before an order is submitted.

Available card, wallet, or alternative payment methods are presented directly in checkout. The exact choices can change based on location, currency, payment provider, and device. Only payment options actually displayed at checkout should be treated as accepted. We do not promise acceptance of a specific provider that is not shown there.

Payment Authorization & Order Confirmation

Submitting an order authorizes the applicable payment service to process payment according to the final checkout total. An authorization or pending bank entry may appear before funds are captured or an order is finally confirmed. Receipt of an order confirmation does not override our right to review and resolve suspected errors or fraud as permitted by law.

Pricing, Currency & Charges

• Product pricing: The price and currency displayed in checkout are controlling for your purchase.
• Shipping fees: Applicable fees are displayed before you place the order.
• Taxes and duties: Applicable charges will be collected or disclosed as required by law and the chosen delivery method. Additional import fees may be charged by local authorities where relevant.

How We Protect Payment Information

Our storefront and checkout are designed to transmit sensitive information using modern encrypted connections. Payment providers and Shopify may process payment data in accordance with their security requirements. No internet-based system is entirely risk free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not ask customers to send complete card numbers, card security codes, or passwords through customer-service email. If you receive a suspicious message that claims to be from Briarston™, please contact us through the details on this website before taking action.

Failed Payments & Duplicate Authorizations

If a payment fails, verify the details entered and speak with your payment provider if needed. A declined transaction can sometimes produce a temporary bank authorization that is released on the provider's schedule. If you believe you were charged twice, contact our support team with the order number and transaction dates; never email full card details.

Fraud Screening & Verification

To protect customers and our business, some orders may be screened or require reasonable verification. Orders involving suspected unauthorized activity, incorrect payment information, or other checkout anomalies may be delayed, cancelled, or referred to the payment provider where legally permitted.

Refunds and Chargebacks

Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method where technically available. The time before a refund appears may depend on the payment institution. If you believe there is a billing issue, contact us so we can investigate without affecting your independent rights to contact your provider.
